A few years ago, a few missionary friends were raising money to build schools in the jungles of Palawan - an island of the Philippines. I was moved by the Holy Spirit to help. So this is a design I made to raise money for the building of the first jungle school deep in the mountains of Palawan, and also my way to honor some of the most impactful people in my life. Many of my closest and dearest friends are Filipino. The shape of the sticker is seen on the Filipino flag, and inside this sun are the colors of the flag alone with the stars that sit on it. It is my rendition of their flag, and my way of showing love to my Filipino family.
